Through livestreaming and a comprehensive video exchange library the WPSL will be enabled to watch and share footage throughout the season.
Lincoln, NE, January 24, 2024 - The Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) is one of the top club soccer leagues in the country, showcasing women at the pinnacle of the club and collegiate market. The WPSL and Hudl are thrilled to be entering into a partnership that is committed to providing its member athletes with the best opportunity to take their talent to the next level, a shared mission of both organizations. Through this partnership with Hudl, the WPSL will have Hudl’s full suite of products available to help with player development, recruiting and coaching — ensuring all WPSL athletes get the shot they deserve.
In this exciting new partnership, the Women’s Premier Soccer League and Hudl have agreed to launch a league video exchange platform for all club teams. The WPSL Exchange is a free video library that allows teams to seamlessly share game footage, for scouting and training purposes. Coaches and athletes can find video — accessible on any device — to better prepare for competition throughout the season.
Hudl will also make it easy for all teams to livestream their matches, with all games available live and on-demand via a designated WPSL page post-competition. Hudl will also provide exclusive partner pricing, video analysis and automatic capture of events via Hudl Focus Flex — the hands-free portable smart camera for soccer.
WPSL members can learn more by speaking with the Hudl representatives who will be onsite for the WPSL annual general meeting starting January 26th through January 28th.
“We are so excited to launch our partnership with the Women's Premier Soccer League, continuing our objective of working with the best organizations in the industry, and investing in the growth of women's soccer," said Rachel Krasnow, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Hudl. “We look forward to enhancing the experience for WPSL coaches, athletes and their families through livestreaming, league video exchange and data analysis, helping to take their top talent to the next level.”
“Securing this partnership with Hudl will boast advantageous opportunities for our teams, our players, and our fans for not just the 2024 season, but seasons to come,” DeBray Ayala, WPSL vice president, said. “We continue to commit ourselves to advancing the women’s game and establishing a platform that promotes and elevates opportunities for our teams and players, and Hudl sharing this vision makes this partnership all the more valuable.”
