The conference-wide partnership cements Hudl as the exclusive video capture, analysis and exchange partner of Conference Carolinas.

LINCOLN, NE (April 6, 2022) Every institution in Conference Carolinas will strengthen their capabilities in the video, data and analytics space through an exclusive partnership with Hudl.

“This is a really exciting partnership for Conference Carolinas,” Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “Associate Commissioner Kit Alewine and others in Conference Carolinas have been working hard behind the scenes for months to make this a possibility for our member institutions. We are thrilled to be leading the way with the uniqueness of our partnership with Hudl. This new partnership provides our member institutions with first-class video analytics for the sports of soccer, volleyball and basketball, but it also will help many of our other sports just as much. We look forward to seeing this partnership flourish over the next few years.”

As part of the partnership, Hudl will manage the league-wide video capture and exchange for men’s and women’s soccer, basketball and volleyball. Each game played at a Conference Carolinas home stadium will be automatically captured with AI-powered Hudl Focus cameras and uploaded to a central Hudl library. Film of every inter-conference game will be automatically exchanged between teams, saving coaches valuable time and giving them easy and secure access to the game film they need.

With conference-wide video capture, Conference Carolinas athletes will have constant access to a vast library of game and practice tape, plus individual Hudl profiles and tools to create and share highlight reels with family, friends and evaluators at the next level.

“There are many creative ways Hudl can be used to help the progress of a student-athlete through their intercollegiate activities, and we will continue to explore each of them to benefit their time here,” said Craig McPhail, Vice President for Athletics and Club Sports at Lees McRae College.

Additionally, Hudl will sponsor the Scholar-Athlete of the Year program, which recognizes the top athlete in each sport who excels on and off the field or court.

“Our purpose at Hudl is to help give every athlete the opportunity they deserve,” said Matt Mueller, COO at Hudl. “One way we accomplish this is through democratizing access to video and data. With this partnership, each program in Conference Carolinas is now equipped to capture, analyze and exchange their video seamlessly with Hudl’s industry-leading suite of products. We’re excited to support not only the conference as a whole, but each program, their coaches, and especially their student-athletes.”
